contemporary color. This striking special edition was developed
in collaboration with the Caran d’Ache community, who voted
on patterns and color combinations via Instagram – a true
expression of shared design vision.

The hexagonal aluminum barrel of the iconic 849 is decorated
with a dynamic two tone mosaic pattern. The deep spruce green
paired with soft contrasting blue creates a confident, modern
look and reflects one of the key trend colors for 2026. Graphic,
fresh and distinctive.

The 849 is Caran d’Ache’s cult object – valued for its clean lines,
durability and everyday reliability. Equipped with the famous black
