CASES

A case keeps together what would otherwise float loose in a bag: cards, a pen, a notepad, a few photographs. You will find card cases, pen cases, notepad cases and photo cases in leather here. Many are made in our own Hamburg workshop and can be stamped with initials.

Made in our own Hamburg workshop

Our family has worked in printing and bookbinding in Hamburg since 1963, and much of this section comes from our own workshop.

That includes the COCO cases with notepad, the GARCIA notepad cases, the BELLA photo cases, the HENRI pen cases and the LASSE credit card case.

Stamping is done here in Hamburg. Initials or a name can be added to most models.

Card cases for business and credit cards

A card case keeps cards from bending and makes handing one over a calmer gesture.

For business cards there is the ETWEE Short by Legendär and the Lionetti models in burgundy and dark blue, alongside the card case by S.T. Dupont.

For credit cards we make our own LASSE, and Talel contributes the YOO.

Cases for pens and notepads

Anyone who writes with a good pen needs something that protects the nib.

Our HENRI holds two pens, as does the pen case by Graf von Faber-Castell. The COCO cases and the GARCIA notepad cases combine pen and paper in a single piece.

Leathers and finishes

Depending on the model we work with smooth calfskin, grained Dakar, nappa and embossed finishes such as tejus, croco, lizard and galuchat.

The skivertex used for the COCO cases is a coated fine weave. It stands up to daily handling better than leather, which is why we use it for pieces that live in a bag.

Frequently asked questions about leather cases

Which cases can be stamped with initials?

The cases from our own workshop, meaning COCO, GARCIA, BELLA, HENRI and LASSE, can be stamped with initials or a name. We do the stamping in Hamburg. Just add your wording to the comments field when you place the order.

Which case suits business cards?

The ETWEE Short by Legendär, the Lionetti business card cases and the S.T. Dupont card case are made for business cards. They hold a stack in the standard 85 x 55 mm format.

What is the difference between a card case and a wallet?

A card case is slimmer and holds cards only. A wallet adds compartments for notes and coins. If you rarely pay in cash, a card case is enough.

What leather are the cases made from?

It depends on the model. We use smooth calfskin, grained Dakar, nappa and embossed finishes such as tejus, croco and lizard. The COCO cases use skivertex, a coated fine weave. The material is listed with each item.

Does a case make a good present?

Yes. A case is small, it gets used every day, and it works even when you do not know someone's size or exact taste. We are happy to wrap it with ribbon and a card.
