The Sompex KORKY Rechargeable Bottle Lamp in Black
transforms an ordinary bottle into a distinctive
lighting object. Instead of using a conventional
lamp base, KORKY makes the bottle part of the
design. Simply insert its silicone stopper into a
suitable bottle neck.
No separate lamp base or nearby power socket is
required.
An Unexpected Design Idea
A slim horizontal cylinder made from black
stainless steel is supported by a narrow metal
stem. Beneath it sits a compact silicone stopper
inspired by the familiar shape of a bottle cork.
The simple T-shaped silhouette makes the design
instantly recognisable.
Two integrated light sources beneath the
horizontal bar provide pleasant downward
illumination.

2200 Kelvin: An especially warm glow for intimate

3000 Kelvin: A clearer warm-white light for a

How does the Sompex KORKY bottle lamp work?
Insert the silicone stopper into the neck of a
suitable bottle. The bottle becomes the base while
two integrated LEDs provide downward table
lighting.
Can KORKY be used with a full wine bottle?
Yes. According to Sompex, the food-safe silicone
stopper is suitable for use with appropriate full
or empty bottles.
Which light temperatures are available?
KORKY offers two colour temperatures: 2200 K for
an extra-warm glow and 3000 K for clearer
warm-white light.
Is KORKY dimmable?
Yes. The integrated touch dimmer provides stepless
brightness adjustment and includes a memory
function.
