Hering Berlin OCEAN Plate Small with Crab in Biscuit Porcelain
The Hering Berlin OCEAN plate small is an exquisite
little plate with character. A cobalt blue painted
crab dances in the middle of finest, velvet matte
cut Hering porcelain and turns the plain plate shape
into a beautiful art object with maritime
storytelling.
The outer rim is made of matte, velvet soft cut
biscuit porcelain and creates a quiet contrast to
the transparently glazed centre, on which the motif
comes into its own particularly delicately. Many
tones of blue meet white porcelain, beautifully
shaped and so sweetly captured.
With a diameter of Ø 16 cm the OCEAN plate small is
wonderfully suited for pastries, petit four, bread,
small side dishes or amuse bouche. It also makes a
beautiful figure as a decorative and mini still-life
bowl on a tray, sideboard or console.
The service by designer Stefanie Hering is made
entirely by hand in soft cut biscuit porcelain at
the Reichenbach porcelain manufactory. Aesthetic
