Founder Elisabeth de Feydeau is a historian, perfume expert and internationally recognised for her research into the fragrance culture of the court of Versailles. Through extensive archive work, she reconstructed the story of Jean-Louis Fargeon, the legendary perfumer of Marie Antoinette. From this rare body of knowledge, Arty Fragrance was founded in 2011 with the aim of bringing historical perfume formulas and the atmosphere of past eras back to life. The handcrafted candles and perfumes of Arty Fragrance are based on authentically inspired compositions and are made using the finest raw materials from Grasse. Each creation tells a story of mythical places, remarkable figures and the splendid world of Versailles.
