S Punkt REHROSE necklace green
S Punkt REHROSE necklace green
The Rehrose is the burr, the ring of bone where a roe buck’s antler
meets the skull. He casts it every year, nothing is cut, and no two are
alike. This one has been left exactly as it grew, knobbly pearling on the
outside and a pale smooth face within.
At its centre sits a large faceted Swarovski® stone in a warm honey tone.
It catches the light and throws it back while the antler beside it stays
matt, and that contrast is what carries the piece. Higher up the cord are
two small faceted Swarovski® beads, one honey and one soft rosé.
Next to the pendant hangs a small deer head in antique silver-tone metal,
antlers, ears and coat all worked out. It is deliberately small and stays
a detail you notice on second glance.
The cord is sage green and just one millimetre thick. The necklace is
approx. 92 centimetres long and has a fixed length, it cannot be adjusted.
Worn as it is, the pendant falls low on the chest; doubled, it sits short.
It belongs with a dirndl and it belongs at Oktoberfest. It works just as
well over a plain jumper or a white shirt, because the natural material
and the fine cord keep it from ever looking formal.
