TESSA CROCO BLACK – QUIET DESIGN WITH A STRONG PRESENCE

Black can be understated and still make an immediate
impression.

TESSA CROCO Black by TRIXI GRONAU combines a compact envelope
shape with a deep black, glossy crocodile-style embossed
surface.

Light catches the different sections of the texture and
creates subtle reflections across the black surface.

The result feels modern, graphic and refined.

BLACK, WHITE AND A SMALL FORMAT

TESSA measures approximately 10 x 7 cm.

The black version looks particularly striking with a white,
cream or pale grey card.

This clean contrast makes TESSA ideal for business cards,
personal notes, vouchers, small invitations or folded
banknotes.

TESSA is intentionally small.

It is not a standard envelope for A4 or A5 paper but a special
presentation envelope for smaller contents.

A MODERN PLACE CARD

TESSA CROCO Black can also become part of a beautifully set
table.

Insert a small name card and the envelope becomes an unusual
table card or place card.

The black version is particularly suited to modern monochrome
settings, black-and-white weddings, dinners, anniversaries and
corporate events.

A personal note, voucher or small surprise can also be hidden
inside for each guest.

TESSA can therefore be used as a name card, decorative table
detail and small keepsake at the same time.

PERSONALISED ON REQUEST

TESSA can be personalised by TRIXI GRONAU.

Up to two letters or a small motif can be embossed onto the
envelope.

Initials can identify a guest's place at the table, while a
small motif can turn the envelope into a personal gift detail.

Personalisation is carried out by TRIXI GRONAU in Hamburg.

Choose from around 60 motifs, 20 foil colours ranging from gold
and copper to blind embossing, and several typefaces.

Because each design is set up by hand, we quote per motif and
quantity. Larger runs for place cards and table settings are no
problem.

CROCODILE-STYLE TEXTURE WITHOUT REPTILE LEATHER

TESSA CROCO Black is made from Pellaq Croco.

Pellaq Croco is a latex-saturated and acrylic-coated paper
with a dimensional crocodile-style embossed surface.

It visually resembles crocodile leather, but no genuine
crocodile or reptile leather is used.

The surface is durable and scratch resistant.

The paper is FSC certified and REACH compliant.

It is also free from harmful plasticisers and heavy metals.

POINTED FLAP WITH ADHESIVE CLOSURE

TESSA has a pointed flap with a small adhesive closure.

The flap does not slide into a slot.

This construction clearly distinguishes TESSA from our ELISA
mini envelope.

HANDMADE IN OUR HAMBURG BOOKBINDERY

TESSA is made by TRIXI GRONAU in our own bookbindery in
Hamburg.

The material is first die-cut flat.

Each mini envelope is then folded, shaped and glued.

For TESSA, we use selected high-quality material offcuts from
our photo album and book production.

This gives smaller pieces of premium bookbinding material a
new purpose.

It also means that TESSA colours and textures are produced in
small batches rather than permanent mass-produced ranges.

TESSA CROCO Black is available only while this particular
material remains in stock.
