Trixi Gronau SUNNY Dakar Sage Green Leather Key Heart

Sage green is a quiet colour that keeps drawing the eye. SUNNY
Dakar Sage Green builds on exactly that: a soft, slightly
greyed green on calf leather, given a clear structure by our
Dakar croco embossing.

The calm shade and the bold texture work well together. The
green softens the pattern, the pattern gives the green some
presence. On a set
of keys the result is understated and still noticed.

SUNNY is made in our Hamburg workshop. The embossed calf
leather is cut, stitched and finished along the edges, which
are dyed and burnished by hand. The leather loop, gold-tone
press stud and key ring are fitted afterwards.

At roughly 6.5 by 6.5 cm the heart sits comfortably in the
hand. It is big enough to find quickly at the bottom of a bag
and small enough to stay out of the way. Many people wear it
as a charm on a handbag instead.

Sage green turns out to be surprisingly easy to combine. It
sits well with black and grey as much as with cream, sand and
cognac, and the gold-tone hardware adds a warm contrast. For
anyone who usually reaches for neutrals, it brings a change of
pace without taking over.

The tone shifts a little with the light. In daylight the green
reads fresh and clear, under lamplight it turns calmer and
greyer. The croco embossing amplifies that shift, because the
raised areas catch the light differently from the recessed
ones.

Embossing is what makes SUNNY personal. On request we press
initials or a short date into the leather in Helvetica Medium,
either in one of our foil colours or as blind embossing
without any colour. Our personalisation
