Trixi Gronau SUNNY Dollaro Mauve Leather Key Heart

SUNNY in Dollaro mauve shows a different side of our little
leather heart. Instead of a smooth or heavily embossed
surface, this one has the fine natural grain of Dollaro calf
leather, an even texture that feels good in the hand.

The shade is a muted mauve, a greyed dusty pink with a clear
lilac undertone. It reads muted and calm and sits well with
grey, charcoal, cream and denim. On a set
of keys it stays quiet and still looks like a considered
choice.

Dollaro is one of the leathers we have worked with for years.
It is more forgiving than smooth leather, because small marks
disappear into the grain, which is exactly what you want on
something carried in a bag every day. Our guide

SUNNY is made in our Hamburg workshop. The leather is cut,
stitched and dyed along the edges. The leather loop, gold-tone
press stud and key ring are fitted by hand.

At roughly 6.5 by 6.5 cm the heart is compact. It is easy to
find by touch at the bottom of a bag, stays out of the way on
a keyring, and works just as well as a charm on a handbag.

The gold-tone hardware brings a warm accent to the cool mauve.
The combination stays understated without feeling ordinary,
largely because the shade itself is unusual.

On request we press initials or a short date into the leather
in Helvetica Medium, either in one of our foil colours or as
blind embossing without colour. On a grained surface blind
embossing looks especially subtle. Our personalisation

That turns a keyring into a small personal present: for a
birthday, for Mother's Day, for a housewarming, or simply as a
thoughtful gesture.

SUNNY Dollaro Mauve is made in small numbers at the TRIXI
GRONAU workshop in Hamburg. Available online and by
